Playing
How do I start a run?
Open the start page, scroll to the track and press Start run. The first row of blocks arrives after a short clear stretch, so you have a moment to settle.
Why did I crash when I was sure I had moved?
Each input moves exactly one lane. A quick double tap to the far lane needs two clean taps; a long drag counts once. Try tapping the side of the track instead of swiping if your swipes are slow.
Can I pause?
Yes: the middle pad, the P key or Esc. Switching tabs or locking the phone pauses the run too.
Is there a top speed?
Yes, gear 8. After that the track holds its pace, and the challenge becomes keeping your streak alive while the rows stay tight.
Scores and cards
What is the difference between my best and my rank?
Best is your highest single score on this device. Rank is the name that best score earns, from Rookie up to Legend.
Do points add up to anything?
They add up to your totals on the racer card and nothing else. They cannot be traded, sold or exchanged.
Is there a leaderboard?
Not yet. Scores never leave your phone, which is the reason there is no public table. If we ever add one it will be opt-in.
Can I reset my best score?
Remove the card on the login page and clear the site data in your browser settings. That wipes the card and the best score on this device.
Devices and safety
Does Daman Game work offline?
After one visit with a connection, yes. The start page and the game are cached, so a run loads in airplane mode.
Which browsers work?
Any recent Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox or Samsung Internet. Very old browsers may draw the blocks with square corners, which is fine.
Will the site ever ask for my number or an OTP?
Never. If anything using this name asks for a phone number, OTP, password or a payment, it is not this site.
Are Daman Games and Daman Game different?
No, same site. Both spellings lead to the free Lane Dash arcade at damangames.uk.
